When customers purchase your software on the Internet through the setSystems Software Source, they will see a charge on their credit card statement from setSystems, as well as a phone number where they can contact us should they have any questions. We are happy to speak with our customers, and we guarantee their satisfaction and, ultimately, yours.

On Security

setSystems operates with the highest regard to the privacy of you and your customers. You can rest assured that we are actively protecting the information of your, as well as your own. We do not divulge our customer list, and will only work with an assigned contact through verified means to ensure that your security is maintained.

We utilize the latest encryption technology legally allowed to protect the financial information of your customers. The encryption technology used by setSystems cannot be exported outside the United States and Canada.

Our computer system is constantly being evaluated and updated to ensure that the private financial information of your customers is not compromised. We monitor the CERT (Computer Emergency Response Team) and CIAC (Computer Incident Advisory Capability) advisories daily (ok, maybe not daily, but at least every other month or so) to stay on top of the latest information regarding security liabilities in our operating systems.

We do not divulge, resell, or otherwise distribute the information we receive from your customers. All information shared with setSystems remains private.

setSystems subjects every transaction to standard banking verification practices. We check to make sure that the credit card number supplied is valid, as well as the address supplied by the customer.  If the billing address given to us does not match that given by the customer, we will decline the transaction. We maintain records of fraudulent transactions, and report every fraudulent incident to the Secret Service for further investigation. Each transaction is checked against a database of known fraudulent credit card numbers, customer names, and E-mail addresses, among others.
